Jesus said, come unto me all ye who are are heavy laden and I would give you rest. He also said I am the way, the truth and the life no one can come to the Father except through me. Jesus said, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). He also said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).

These are promises of Jesus—of being with us, providing us with all we need, and being the only way to the Father. As believers, we know Jesus is in us and that He has done all things for us. But what about those around us who know nothing of Jesus? Who go around with heavy burdens, without a friend—Jesus—to be with them literally through the storm?
